Identified as a cornerstone of the Augusta golfing community, The Practice Club at Jones Creek reopened on April 3, 2023—coinciding with the iconic Masters Monday. This significant date marked a new beginning for the storied Jones Creek facility, with its revival spearheaded by Andrew Brooks, CEO of Bond Golf Global.
“We are proud to reinvest in this historic golf club and offer The Practice Club to the Augusta golfing community,” Brooks commented during the opening. Powered by cutting-edge TopTracer technology, the facility now stands as a hub for innovation and inclusivity in golf, blending tradition with modern advancements to attract players of all skill levels.
This vision became a reality following Brooks’ engagement with Callaway and TopTracer at the PGA Merchandise Show in January 2023. With just six weeks to prepare, the Bond Golf Global team, supported by Callaway, rallied to make the April 3rd opening a success. “When people believe in your vision as much as Callaway did, you make it happen,” said Brooks.
Chip Brewer, CEO of Callaway, celebrated the collaboration, stating, “Golf is at an exciting intersection of technology, youth activities, and diversity. Facilities like The Practice Club embody this new energy and will inspire the next generation of golfers.”
Highlighting its community focus, 14-year-old junior golfer Cale Parks had the honor of hitting the facility’s first shot. Under the leadership of Andrew Brooks and Darren May, The Practice Club aims to be a driving force in shaping the future of golf in Augusta.
