Bond Golf Global is set to revive the former Jones Creek Golf Course in Evans with the opening of The Practice Club at Jones Creek during Masters Week. Slated to debut on Monday, April 3, this innovative practice facility aims to bring new life to the site, which has been dormant for five years.
“Our goal is to create a community-focused, family-friendly facility that anyone can use,” says Andrew Brooks, founder and owner of Aiken-based Bond Golf Global. “We want to direct people into the game of golf. It’s open to everybody, 100 percent.”
Powered by Toptracer technology, the state-of-the-art facility will feature eight outdoor bays, eight indoor bays, two covered suites, and a comfortable sitting area for sports viewing. A Junior Golf Academy will further support the next generation of players. Phase two, expected to be completed by the end of June, will introduce a putting green, chipping green, and practice bunker. Future amenities will include club fitting and repair services, ensuring that players of all levels have access to world-class resources.
“Our vision is to bring back the golf course,” Brooks adds, emphasizing the long-term potential of the site. “It’s going to be a special place.”
The Practice Club will also offer food and beverage services, creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. While some facilities cater primarily to beginners, The Practice Club is designed as a next-level experience, providing a pathway for golfers to hone their skills and transition to the course.
